How to turn a DATE into a FRIENDSHIP deal?

Earlier I opened a question asking if(or how) I should reject a date after carelessly accepting the offer, so now I took the advise from most people that I should still go to it because of personal integrity, whether I like it or not, I already said yes so I have to live by my words as long as I tell him I am not interested for going too far with him after the date.





here is the question, how to turn a DATE into a FRIENDSHIP deal? I want to make the enviroment as easy as possible and not giving him any chances to think that I am interested during the date and then at the end telling him that I am not interested at all.





Is the word 'date' (or going on a date) really makes people expect something out of it? can i turn it into a friendship kind of thing..

Reply:Invite some friends and turn it into a group date. You'll both feel less pressured to focus on each other and it won't be so romantic or date-like. Or move the "date" to an earlier time that day. For example, if it was at 7pm, change it to 4pm so it would be more casual. Good luck.
