My girlfriends wants to date guys while we are together what do I tell her when I dont want her too?

So me and my gf have been dating for 5 months and she had a bf when we started and 2 weeks ago he broke up with her and keep in mind she is 19 and I am 21 and not that she can date she wants to date but it hurts me to think of her dating other people weither it be a guy or a girl... i think its up fair because im not gonna wait around for ever to see what her choice is ... How long should I wait to see what her choice of if she wants me, me and another, or not at all Should i wait, I love you soo much and I know she loves me, she is going through a hard time right now and says that she wants me but she also wants to date and be a 19yr old, she wants to have fun. But i cant wait forever and its not fair to me, for me to sit here and watch her date while i sit at home alone.

So apparently you are not exclusively together?! If you want to be more exclusive then talk to her, because of her age she is most likely not ready for that. SO let her date and you do the same, you might find someone else who fits with you better. I know I started dating my (ex)husband when I was 19, we got married when I was 21 and divorced 5 years later. I am now very happily with a woman.

I was dating a 21 yr old, we started exclusively but then she came to me and said that she cant be in a relationship with me bc she is interested in other people and its not fair to me bc I want to be exclusive. I just chose to move on because I could never date her after having an exclusive relationship. I tried, but I finally decided that I cannot go backwards after what we had.

Either sit her down and make her understand or leave her.

You can issue an ultimatum, but be preaped for the consequences. Even if she gives in, she may resent you for it, or see people on the side anyway.





Sometimes, no matter how much we think it can work out, it just cannot. While we don't really know either of you, you've told us enough that this relationship looks like a car crash waiting to happen. Sorry.

Reply:You say you love her, but if you don't believe that what she's doing is "fair", which I don't either, you have to let her go. Being nineteen years old doesn't mean being promiscuous and having fun all the time. If she can't respect that what she wants doesn't go by your morals, why are you wasting your time?
