I had a sonogram Nov. 1st because I had severe pain in my right side, turns out to be an Appendicitis. The hospital set my due date May 14th. The surgeon who preformed my surgry reassured me I was 3 months closer to 4. I go to my now regular doctor, she performed another sonogram for her records and says it looks like the due date is May 14th. April 14th, I had yet another one performed by a hospital sono tech he said, "It's too hard to tell being as you are very far along to tell the due date, it looks to be May 25th.but it can be from May 15th to May 25th." When going back to the doctor the following Monday she claims she has to go by what the sono tech says as the due date which is May 25th. Upon doing 3 different pregnancy calendars they all come up again with the due date May 14th or close. The baby is said to be breech may have turned by now, so it is important to know my due date. Which date should I go by? Say something to the doctor? Bring in the calendars or other records?
So when is my due date?
I would definitely speak to your doctor about your concerns. Calculations can be out a bit, but if you're worried, push for an answer. The ultrasound dates are quite accurate in early pregnancy, but less so further on and are operator dependent anyway. By dates, I would suggest the earlier date is more likely to be correct.
Reply:I would say May 14th. Maybe sooner if your lasy period was early august
