First date's feeling?

okay so went on a first date the other night and the guy is really really nice......and i could so see myself with him in the future. But there was no zazazu....no butterflies or excitement afterwards...and I'm used to that feeling. Does that mean anything? In dates when I felt that....it never worked out in the end....so does that mean this is a good thing? What is normal to feel after a frist date? And I didn't kiss him....how far is too far and how prude is too prude for a first date?

I dont think that you can just start immediatly liking someone, and feeling those emotions right after the first date might just be the fact that you are caught up in all the excitement of a first date! so, if you arent feeling that with this date, it doesnt mean this relationship has no chance of going anywhere. it might be real, and therefore the love/like will develop gradually. i would still go on another date. after a first date, people could have different feelings. some might be bubbly and excited, some might not have been feelin it at all, and some may think the person could be a good choice and will go for the next date. its no biggie if you didnt kiss him. you just met the guy! i dont really think its prudeish, some might but not me. too far would be like..making out. once again, i think making out with someone you just met like an hour ago is kinda wrong! but next time, i mean if you do choose to go on anoher date, i think kissing him is good, like totally and completely fine. alright! hope that answered all your questions.
Reply:Okay, maybe cause you're not nervous around this guy. Maybe you're comfortable around him. Maybe it's because you weren't concerned about kissing him at the end of the night. I mean, who knows. The possibilities are endless. Does this mean that you should quit going on dates with him? No. If you like the guy, then date him. So what if there isn't "butterflies?"





I think you not kissing him on your first date is fine. It all depends on you. But too far is sex. I think that goes a little too far.
Reply:im sorta going thro the same thing. i just started going out eith ths guy... and idk... for some reason i just feel sorta.. like blaa. but i think tht if u rlly like a guy u shoudl feel excited. and i think its ok to kiss a guy on mybe the second date or somthing.. nothing major tho.
