What is the perfect date for an online meetup? It will have to be on Friday night (due to his working weekend schedule). What if we don't like eachother after all? How do I cut it short? What is a good way to start (drinks? dinner? coffee?). I suck at this first date stuff --- help? and don't worry... I live in NYC so there are people everywhere you go.

Reply:Meet at a tavern or cafe for a drink and appetizers or some activity at the park. I would definitely only schedule for weeknights....this especially gives you an out if it doesn't work out. Shouldn't be that hard, but some people are uncomfortable facing the facts of online dating....sometimes you just aren't attracted to each other.
Reply:hmmmm go to the zoo..central park..or a museum..that way you'll never be at a loss of words because the sites you will see will always give you something to talk about. you can go out to grab some coffee afterwards and talk about what you thought about the museum/zoo or whatever..and then take it casually from there.
