Kissing on first date!?

Well I'm dating my best friend now (knew each other since 3 years old) an we went on our first date. At the end of the date he kissed me and my friends say he was wrong for doing that. They said I should date him longer. I didn't see the problem with it, but is it wrong to kiss on the first date?

no i dont think so! but it does depend on where he kissed you. if it was a peck on the cheek, that was the sweetest thing! if it was a little more intense, well only YOU can decide if it was appropriate. but who cares when or if it was appropriate...all that matters is your first thought after your kiss! dont listen to your firends. if anything, they are just jealous. think back to when right after he kissed you. where you happy? or were you thinking what your friends were going to say...? if you think it was ok, then its ok. if you realize BY yourself that it wasnt ok, then tell him just to let him no b/c you dont want to keep secrets. although he'll probably say...i just really wanted to because i really like you!aww lol

Reply:He's your boyfriend not your friends. If there's no problem then I don't see why you should leave him. You seem happy. But really next time don't listen to your friends. I'm telling you from experience.

Reply:I don't think that's a problem. That's such a cute story thought. The kiss just shows that he is comfortable around you. The time when it is wrong is when you barely know your date and than you kiss, but you guys already know each other.

Reply:NO! If you guys really like each other than nothing is wrong. My ex boyfriend kissed me the third day we were going out. It was the first time I had seen him out of school. He snuck over to my friends house at like 11 so he could see me. :-) If you guys rlly like each other then there is nothing wrong with kissing on the first date!
