So my last real relationship was about 4 months ago now. we dated for a year and 7 months. he was a great guy but we're over and stuff. anyways, i lost my virginity to him, which i dont regret, i was very comfortable with him and like i said he was a great guy. i go to a pretty small private school and everyone in my high school basically knows everything i did with him. i have been on dozens of first dates since then, and no joke, EVERY SINGLE guy i have been with has tried to have sex with me/ attempt to moleste me on the first date. i believe in a kiss/making out first date but i like to keep it safe on the first date. no one i dated before did this, why do they do it now? its true i used to have a reputation as a slut but i thought that had kind of faded.. why does every guy do this and just think i'll be okay with it??

Maybe because they're guys... and a lot of guys (though not all, by any means) as they get older they try and get away with more and more? Oh, and you shouldn't have to "dress more conservatively" to avoid that type of attention. It's not -your- fault a guy gropes/tries to rape you or whatever. It's his fault for having a lack of self control and respect for his fellow human beings =p If it's a really big problem for you that guys act this way, try talking to them a lot first, either on the phone or on the computer before you go out on a real one on one date. Or double date or something.
Reply:Okay maybe its your personality or the way you protray yourself. Dressing "slutty" or provoctive just tells guys that you put out easy even though thats not necessarily what you mean. Try changing your style or flirting habits and you will see a change in the way guys treat you. Cause right now their acting like your only a sex object. in which they dont care about.

I suppose if you got a tazer and turned the lightbulb into a metaphorical bug zapper, you could fix the problem... or maybe this answer really sucks.

Start a different reputation at your next school.
Reply:well first of all there's always the possibility that they heard about what you did with your last boyfriend and they think that they have just as good a chance you know? *shrugs* most guys think with their manhood anyways.
Another thing you could consider is the type of guy you're askind out.
Reply:I'm not sure, but you should make it clear to them that it isn't something you want to do before they start to make a move on you. If they really care about you, they'll respect your wishes and be fine with taking things slow :)
Oh yeah, and dressing more conservatively may be a good idea, a little skin can go a long way in a guys mind (this is coming from a guy :)

Reply:It could be because you're older now. Guys my age (early 20s) appear to believe going back to someone's house is a natural conclusion to a date and I'm not remotely slutty. So I think it just has to do with age. Guys want to sleep with girls at that age and I'm guessing they think we've got to be interested in the same thing. Remember, dating should be fun. If it's not, why do it? If you're getting annoyed with the male population stop dating for a few months. I took a break and seem to be having better luck telling the good guys from the sleazy ones. Reply:It sounds like your reputation has stuck with you. Generally speaking, I think a guy who wants to have sex on the first date has no respect for the woman. But, how old are you? You say you were in a relationship for nearly 2 years and had sex and you are still at high school - I would say you have plenty of time ahead of you to find the right guy. Maybe you should quit on the dating and see if you can shake that reputation.
