Why do YOU date??

I know many people that date without intending to marry.





I just asked a question involving dating, and an answer said that they do not "encourage" dating unless you are looking for marriage.





Have you ever dated, and known that you wouldn't marry the person, but dated them anyway, and if so, why??

Reply:Ahh yes, and my motives were less than pure. Dating can be a series of mini trials for perspective mates. Practice if you will ;)
Reply:Yes, of course I have. Dating is fun. What are you doing tonight?
Reply:Well, I'm "holding out for that teenage feeling," as the song says, before I'll consider marrying again.





But in the meantime . . . good company is good company, good sex is good sex, good friends are good friends. It doesn't have to be *till death do us part* to be worthwhile.
