hello

i have a problem with (date and time settings)in windows xp

whenever i click on the date%26amp;time in control panel or from the taskbar a message comes up saying:

"you do not have the proper privilege level to change the system time"

and i'm doing that from my administrator account.

i tried to do it in safe mode(f8) and it was the same

i made another admin user and tried to acces to it but nothing changed.

Why do u thing that's happend and how can i change my system date%26amp;time any help/ advice?

Reply:Sounds like your profile is currupt. From safe mode, see if you can create a new profile with administrator rights. If you can then log into that profile and change the date from there. Then you can move your file over from the administrator account and when you are sure you have them all, delete and recreate the administrator account.
Reply:Check out this Knowledge base to change the time/date.
