Date question?

What would you think if someone of the opposite sex came up to you holding a box of dates and said "Can I offer you a date?" or "If I offered you a date, would you accept?" Do you think this would be funny or would you be offended? How would you react?

i would be slightly confused but i might still accept haha.
Reply:I would love it! Especially if he asked me the first one "Can I offer you a date" while holding out a box of real dates. That shows he has a sense of humor and originality. I seriously would love it.

Reply:id probably be offended that that is the way they would ask, but then give them my number and tell them "lets chat, loser" in a playful/flirty way. but actually mean the loser part. that way we are both happy! lol. :P
